Editing Update #2

Anthony Sylvester (editor) and I got a lot of work done this weekend and as a result, I'm happy to announce that picture on WAFFLE is now locked. Visually, it's looking great and it has a good flow. I'm now approaching the final stages of sound work before color-correction is applied.

A teaser for the film will be posted very soon.

Editing Update and Stills

This past week, I watched a very promising rough cut from editor Anthony Sylvester. We are now in the middle of making some crucial picture adjustments before moving on to color correction, which should be within the next two weeks. The goal is to spend most of June working on sound and have a final cut by early July. More post-production updates to come. In the meantime, here are a few more stills from the shoot:

Once production wrapped, I figured I would get a head start on promotional material. So, I spent the past few weeks putting together different poster images, gathering feedback and trying to decide which one represents the film best. Although minor text-related changes and updates will most likely be made once the film is complete, here is an early look at the official poster:

Welcome to the "Waffle" blog.

"Waffle" is a short horror film that was shot in April 2010 and is currently in post-production. This blog will provide updates, content and other information relating to the film as it goes through editing and onto the film festival circuit.

Synopsis: A disfigured, science fair champion invites her new friend over for dinner, but by the time dessert arrives, the two schoolmates will discover each other's true, unpleasant nature.
